New Year's Resolutions

I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, by the way! Every year at this time, I really get the urge to get organized. It usually lasts for a little while, and then I fall back into my normal mode. But I'm going to try it again and see how it goes. I guess what I'm going for this time maybe is better efficiency and time management. That should, in turn, cause me to be more organized...shouldn't it? I guess time will tell. I actually even typed up a daily schedule to do certain chores and tasks at certain times of the day, if you can believe that. And exercise...that's way up on the list of things to do also, especially walking. We're having a cold snap (it was around 10 degrees this morning), so I don't know if I'll muster the courage to walk today or not. Wimpy, huh? But then there's always the Yoga Pilates DVD...

What you need is a dog. My Jake insisted that we go for a walk this morning. My excuse of "It's too cold" didn't hold water with him.
The key is to layer and to buy snow boarder gloves (they are the warmest gloves I've ever owned).

Good luck on your organization plans. I'm still trying to come up with a system that works.

too funny - more exercise is always at the top of my list and seems to be the first thing to drop off - so sad! It's cold here too - around "0" all day - but they say Friday will be warmer. I must be getting old - building a snowman in this cold holds absolutely no appeal!

My schedule idea has worked pretty well for the two whole days that I've used it... :)
