A Closer Look (12/15/09)

Pie, anyone?I found this rock on a walk a few days ago. It's pretty good sized...the squares on the floor vinyl are probably about 6 inches wide. It looks like it has a crust and some kind of whipped topping on top. Hmmm. Petrified pie.

P.S. This isn't a flop from my kitchen. Really.

A Closer Look (10/26/09)

More moss? Maybe, but the subject is actually what's underneath the green stuff.

A rock, shaped like some ancient piece of broken pottery.

You find some rocks like that around here, but the majority of them are more irregularly shaped.

Though they can make for some difficult gardening and post hole digging, there are some really beautiful ones.
